About Beth Thomas
Organisation – it’s in my blood!
I pride myself on being highly organised. You could say it is in my blood as the daughter of an army officer and a teacher. Perhaps it is also why I love being a virtual assistant so much - it comes naturally to me.
I started off my career with an honour’s degree from the University of Edinburgh. After a year and a half of working with wildlife in the national parks of Africa, I came to the realisation that a love of nature alone wasn’t going to pay the bills.
I began a highly successful career in sales, marketing and PR in the luxury travel and hospitality industry; roles that would permit me to live and work around the world.
In addition to being incredibly organised, I have great attention to detail and a strong command of the English language. I am adaptable and creative and always willing to help.

International experience
I have lived and worked across Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and the Indian Subcontinent and understand the idiosyncrasies and etiquette required when supporting businesses operating in these regions.
Diverse industries
Most of my career has been spent working in the luxury travel and hospitality industry, I have created bespoke luxury holidays, from initial requirements to booking stage, managed the pre-opening marketing for multiple 5-star hotels and helped host in-house and offsite gigs for some of the biggest names in music. (I can’t say who)!
Tradeshows and events are one of my fortes and I have managed many an occasion seamlessly, from tradeshow stand design to personnel attendance.
I am always interested in new markets and enjoy onboarding with clients.
